In 2010 Yuliana Rogacheva became the only Russian singer who managed to receive an award on the Shure Montreux Jazz Voice Competition in Switzerland. The legendary Quincy Jones presented the award to the young jazz singer. The jury’s decision was supported by the audience as Yuliana also received People’s Choice Award.


Yuliana’s talent, professionalism and creative potential were appreciated by the jury of a prestigious Russian award called “Triumph”. The singer was nominated for the jazz vocalist category and successfully won the award.

The young singer won a scholarship for studying in the USA twice. She studied in the Jazz Workshop at Stanford University in California for two years and performed as a solo artist on San Jose Jazz Festival in California.

Yuliana has been the lead singer in a big band of students of the Russian Gnesin academy of music under people’s artist Anatoliy Kroll. She has performed on a number of the most famous stages of Russia with this big band.

The singer completed her studies at the Gnesin Academy in June 2011, graduating with the highest honors.

Yuliana Rogacheva has a diverse concert program which includes well-known and long-forgotten classical American jazz compositions and her own songs. This is the music which allows the singer to fulfill her motto which is to express her feelings and share them with the audience. And the viewers always feel connected with Yuliana on her concerts. The beautiful ballads where genuine emotions are supported with the deep, warm and soft quality of Yuliana’s voices are just as good as the fast-speed swing compositions. Precise solos and amazing vocal technique sound so convincing and original that you don’t have to be an expert to understand that jazz performed by Yuliana Rogacheva is a true art which is worth to be seen on stages.
