Timofey Hazanov - "Black Sax"

Timofey Hazanov, the young Russian composer and popular alto saxophonist, presents his debut solo album "Black Sax" that was recorded in collaboration with many famous Russian musicians. Tim was born in Gomel, Belarus and grew up in a 'musicians' family. He began to study the saxophone when he was four, and by age 11, he already had much success playing in a circus orchestra, travelling all over the world!

Since he was 14, Tim has taken part in many musical contests and jazz festivals. He's received an excellent education - graduated from the prestigious Gnesin's State Musical College (pop-jazz department), and The State University of Culture and Art (the class of Sergey Rezantsev, one of Russia's favorite artists. And of course, the unforgettable period of his life when he lived in the United States, took private lessons and played alongside of many local musicians.

For many years now, he is the front man of Russia's popular pop group, "Scenacardia".
