Yuri Markin - Jazz Suite on themes from the opera "Knyaz Igor"

Yuri Markin (b. 1942) is a musician, composer, arranger, teacher, past a long career in jazz, performed in various bands with famous musicians as bassist and as a pianist. The works of Yuri Markin was always accompanied in finding new way in jazz and, experimenting in different musical directions, he turned to the classics. It's logically followed from Yuriy's great musical experience, from his creative dialogue with composers Mikhail Chulaki, Alfred Schnittke, Rodion Shchedrin.
