SHACHAR ELNATAN

Guitarist Shachar Elnatan is one of the leading and unique voices of the flourishing young jazz scene in Israel. At this young age he has already collaborated with many musicians worldwide including greats such as: Avishai Cohen, Ravi Coltrane, Kellylee Evans, Eli Degibri and many more.

GADI LEHAVI

Piano Player Gadi Lehavi was born on 29 April (He is privileged to share birthday with the great Duke Ellington) 1996. Playing by ear from a very early age and experimenting with improvisation drew Gadi naturally to jazz. 

A visit to New-York opened a door to the world. He was discovered by the renowned jazz musician Ravi Coltrane, who invited him to play together at the famous "Village Vanguard" and "Birdland" jazz clubs.

Since then, Gadi Lehavi has been performing in music festivals around the world and already had the privilege of performing and collaborating with some of the greatest musicians of our time. Among them: Ravi Coltrane, Chick Corea, Dave Liebman, Bobby McFerrin, Eli Degibri, Phil Wilson, Kurt Rosenwinkel and Eddie Gomez.

Gadi is a graduate of the "Rimon School of Jazz & Contemporary Music" where he studied with pianist, composer and arranger Rami Levin and with pianist and composer Avi Adrian. He also studied classical piano with Dr. Michal Tal and with Professor Jonathan Zack from the "Buchmann-Mehta School of Music".

DAN ARAN

Dan Aran has become one of the most sought after drummers. In addition to Touring, recording and performing with artists such as Harry Whitaker, Natalie Mer- chant, Stacey Kent, Adam Birnbaum and many others, Dan leads his own quintet and is establishing himself as a writer and bandleader.



Dan's debut recording as a leader "Breathing" (smalls records), was described as “Disarmingly pretty, pure in melodic focus." - All About Jazz. And as “One of the most beautiful recordings I have heard in a long time." – Pamela Espeland / Bebopified.



Dan's versatility and ability to play different styles is what keeps him busy with a wide variety of bands. He is a regular member of The Michael Arenella Dreamland Orchestra, The Nick Hempton Band and Itai Kriss's TELAVANA. Dan is also an in demand dumbek player, and is active in the world music scene.



Dan's musical journey started in his hometown of Jerusalem. He graduated from the Rubin Academy of Music high school and was already a busy drummer in the Israeli music scene, playing with a number of different groups including bassist Avishai Cohen’s trio, the Amos Hoffman group, Omer Avital and Arnie Lawrence.



Dan continued his education at the New School University in New York City. He graduated in 2004 earning a BFA in performance and has been playing in major venues in the
U.S, Europe, the Middle East and Asia ever since.
